the joy of making things
By rbeerhorst on December 3rd, 2007
the compression that winter brings
picking up toys
apologies
walking to Family Fair grocery store
flocks of sparrows pecking at what the chickens left
early morning ink drawing
Shepherds hair
parsnips and stew meat
God hungry
watching movies squished together on the couch
Rose and all her green tea
Brenda’s eyes
crunching through the snow
wondering were Brooklyn went
Pearl strumming an Em chord
buckwheat pancakes with apples and cranberries

at school there was a nicely carved sign above the clothes pegs in the craft room; when you entered class, as you hung up your coat, you read:I too will something make and joy in the making. But I cant remember to whom the quote was credited….may be William Morris. I`m enjoying the spirit of your web communications, thankyou Chris M
