carriage house front
This is the front of the carriage house studio. I have been costomizing it with what materials I have been able to salvage here in the city. We do not have a car so when I come across something too large for the bike trailer I have to connect with a friend with a car or van to help me get it back home. This studio has been like a sanctuary for me. It is a place to get away for a while until Brenda calls me back to the house to help with the kids or to make the next meal. We installed a wood stove to keep it warm for the winter. The wood stove has us forging for wood in the nearby parks and ally ways. The wood stove takes the edge off the cold but does not really make it very warm. I have begun to add insulation but have not got very far with that yet.

when i was in town earlier this month, Dave and i dropped off some equipment at your carriage house. you all were not at home. i sneaked a peak through the windows. it looks like a nice, snug, little hole for a guy to curl up and make some art. it was good to see that you have landed well in g.r.
